Guilford County has announced the official opening date of the new Guilford County Behavioral Health Center at the Maple Street Professional Center at 931 Third St. in Greensboro. The new facility will provide behavioral and mental health care beginning June 14, 2021. The new center will offer a Behavioral Health Urgent Care facility with beds for children and adults experiencing mental health, addiction, or intellectual/development disabilities in need of de-escalation or immediate intervention.
Patients currently being treated by the Sandhills Center, Monarch, or Cone Health will transition to the new facility by the end of June.
